The domain name transfer process is followed in
accordance with the Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy specified by ICANN
(last revised on November 12, 2004). It is recommended that you go through the
same, at http://www.icann.org/transfers/policy-12jul04.htm, to acquaint yourself with
this.
There are instances where the transfer of a
domain name might get stuck, and the Registrar has to perform certain steps to
push it through. The possible problems that can be encountered are mentioned
here - please follow the procedures given, to process such transfers.
